MRI #3

This morning I will have my third MRI since diagnosis. It is very difficult to put a finger on exactly how I feel. It is definitely not fear! It is a, kind of, excitement – weird, right?! I have been following a very limited and streamlined diet and taking so many supplements, you would wonder how I have time for anything else. I am anxious to see the results. MRI #2 there was some shrinking of “Gertie” ( the name I have given to the large cyst in my liver). And, some of the smaller mets also decreased in size. The rest remained unchanged, which is actually GREAT news, because nothing got bigger and nothing new showed up. But, the ever cautious radiologist said “basically unchanged.” I’ll take it! Fingers crossed – maybe we will see some “insignificant” shrinking again! I’ll take that too! Call it what you want, but getting smaller in this situation is ALWAYS positive! I will continue to be positive!!

The above picture is of my initial CT Scan, November 2018. The large cyst like structure, referred to as “Gertie”, is a tumor!
